The candidate should have 3-4 years of relevant experience, a Diploma in Mechanical / Tool & Die Making, and strong negotiation and RFQ–PO process skills to ensure timely material availability.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of procurement experience in engineering/manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of indirect procurement and sourcing.
• Experience with RFQ to PO cycle and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Handle Indirect Purchase / Procurement activities.
• Source and procure Jigs & Fixtures, Tooling, Fabrication, PLC and related items.
• Identify and develop new vendors for materials and services.
• Issue RFQs, evaluate quotations and perform price analysis.
• Negotiate with vendors for cost, quality and delivery.
• Manage procurement from RFQ to PO and delivery.
• Maintain supplier relationships and ensure material availability.
• Monitor vendor performance and delivery commitments.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Indirect Purchase professional for a leading engineering and manufacturing company. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, vendor management, cost negotiation and end-to-end procurement of engineering-related items.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle Indirect Purchase / Procurement activities.
• Source and procure Jigs & Fixtures, Tooling Parts, Assembly Line Commodities, PLC, Fabrication and other engineering-related items.
• Identify and develop new vendors for required materials and services.
• Float RFQs, evaluate quotations and conduct price/cost analysis.
• Negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing, quality and delivery.
• Manage the complete procurement process from RFQ to PO and final delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
• Ensure timely availability of materials as per business requirements.
• Monitor vendor performance, pricing and delivery commitments.
