Macquarie Group is seeking an experienced full-stack engineer to design, build, and scale scalable applications using React, JavaScript, and REST. You will lead development of secure, cloud-native microservices on AWS and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust features and optimise performance.

The role emphasizes strong coding standards, CI/CD, and DevOps best practices, with exposure to emerging AI/ML technologies to solve complex engineering challenges.

Qualifications

• 5-9 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong frontend with React and JavaScript, REST design, and Python knowledge.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and containerization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing; collaboration and code reviews.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will design, build, and scale full-stack applications using React, java script and REST design while leading the development of secure, scalable, cloud-native microservices on AWS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust features, drive system design decisions, and optimise performance, while upholding strong coding standards and contributing to CI/CD, software development and DevOps best practices. You will also explore emerging technologies, including AI/ML, to solve complex engineering challenges and deliver reliable, production-ready solutions

What You Offer

• 5 - 9 years of experience in full-stack software engineering, with strong expertise in modern frontend frameworks React, Java script and REST design along with Python knowledge.
• Hands on experience with database design, optimization and querying in both relational and No SQL database along with containerization.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and collaborative development practices (e.g., code reviews).
• Good to have experience in AI/ML integrated projects.
