Job summary

Macquarie Group is seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer to join its Risk Technology team. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver end-to-end software solutions, including testing, deployment, and upgrades.

You will provide production support, ensure system stability, and drive platform enhancements. The role requires strong Java/Python experience, UI framework proficiency, and cloud/DevOps capabilities to operate in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of strong experience in Java or Python.
• Experience with modern user interface frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Experience in RDBMS, SQL, JPA or Hibernate.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, EC2 and EKS) and CI/CD pipelines and security controls.
• Ability to use AI-assisted development tools, apply DevOps practices, manage incidents and stakeholders, and deliver in an agile environment.
• Experience working with GRC Platforms such as SAS Viya MRM and OpenPages.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and development teams to define requirements and deliver end‑to‑end software solutions, including testing, deployment, and upgrades. The role includes providing production support, working closely with users, and helping ensure system stability and performance. You’ll drive platform enhancements, build strong stakeholder relationships, serve as a subject matter expert for complex issues, and uphold high standards of quality and professionalism.
