Job summary

Macquarie Group is seeking a skilled Java professional to design, develop and optimise core framework components and key applications including trade analytics, OMS applications and regulatory reporting systems. You will contribute to architectural decisions, performance tuning and follow best practices like TDD and test automation.

You will also provide Level 2 production support to ensure high availability, collaborating with global teams across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Core Java Fundamentals in trading or capital markets.
• Proven success building applications in trading or capital markets environments.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven architectures and network programming.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms and working with global teams.

Responsibilities

What role will you play?

In this role, you will design, develop and optimise core framework components and key applications, including trade analytics, OMS applications, and regulatory reporting systems. You will also contribute to architectural decisions and performance tuning. The role involves applying software engineering best practices, such as TDD, test automation and peer reviews, while collaborating closely with cross functional teams. Additionally, you will provide Level 2 production support, ensuring high availability and rapid incident resolution.
