Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is required.

• Candidate should have strong commercial, analytical, communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in supplier evaluation, cost negotiation and zero-based costing.
• Familiarity with SAP, MS Office, SharePoint and Teams.
• Experience with development of mechanical parts and sub-assemblies.
• Knowledge of NPD, part development, and strategic sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Manage New Product Development (NPD), part/component development and supplier development.
• Handle RFQ, supplier evaluation/selection, techno-commercial discussions and cost negotiation.
• Develop casting, machining and forging parts with focus on quality, cost and delivery.
• Manage project/program activities, PEP, VQP, change management and material ratio planning.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Quality and Manufacturing for execution and part release.
• Ensure alignment with procurement goals and supplier performance.
• Possess strong commercial, analytical, communication, organizational and project management skills.

• Handle RFQ, supplier evaluation/selection, techno-commercial discussions, cost negotiation and Zero-Based Costing.

• Manage project/program activities, PEP, VQP, change management and material ratio planning.
