Responsibilities

We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and technology-driven Accounts Executive to manage the organization's day-to-day finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will ensure financial accuracy, book-keeping, bank reconciliation, and timely reporting through financial analysis. The role requires someone who is comfortable leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity, automate routine tasks, and improve financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely processing of vendor payments, employee reimbursements, book-keeping, and bank- reconciliation – specialization in Busy software.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and oversee depreciation accounting.
• Develop, implement, and strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes.
• Identify opportunities to automate finance workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end financial closures with complete accuracy.
• Utilize AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms for financial reporting, data analysis, documentation, process optimization, and productivity enhancement while ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of financial information.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Busy, Tally, and Zoho Books.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, financial reporting, and data analysis.
• Comfortable working with AI-powered productivity tools and eager to adopt emerging technologies to improve finance operations.
