Job summary

Ethara AI in Gurugram, Haryana seeks a Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day finance operations, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial analysis. You will manage AP/AR/GL, statutory filings, and payroll coordination while leveraging AI tools to automate processes and improve accuracy.

The role partners with auditors and leadership to drive budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting in a fast-growth tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting.
• CA Inter, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, financial reporting, and data analysis.
• Comfortable working with AI-powered productivity tools and eager to adopt emerging technologies to improve finance operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end financial closures with complete accuracy.
• Handle statutory compliances, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities during audits and statutory filings.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization to ensure efficient financial management.
• Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis to support business planning and decision-making.
• Process payroll inputs and coordinate salary disbursements with the HR team.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and oversee depreciation accounting.
• Ensure timely processing of vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and customer invoicing.
• Develop, implement, and strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes.
• Identify opportunities to automate finance workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Generate MIS reports and provide financial insights to founders and leadership for strategic decision-making.
• Utilize AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms for financial reporting, data analysis, documentation, process optimization, and productivity enhancement while ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of financial information.
