Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Tamil Nadu invites an experienced logistics professional to join our operations team.

You will maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders, oversee independent operations, coordinate with buyers and LSPs, and ensure SOP compliance to meet targets and quality. Candidates should have 3–5 years in logistics, a Bachelor’s degree, and a Diploma in SCM or Logistics. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics/transportation within a cross-functional/matrix type organization.
• Bachelor’s degree and SCM/Logistics diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good working relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Oversee independent operations management.
• Assist in meeting targets and participate in problem-solving with the operations manager.
• Ensure all service providers meet customer requirements and follow the standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Provide accurate inputs for LSP billing to the FBAP team.
• Ensure timely and accurate MIS reporting for customer production planning.
• Supervise operations and coordinate with buyers and logistics service providers (LSPs).
• Resolve operational issues efficiently, ensuring no impact on production.
• Adhere to project SOPs and ensure compliance by LSPs.
• Promote safe working practices and participate in quality assurance initiatives.
