Job description

Role & responsibilities

3.1 Logistics Operations Management

• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of shipments as per customer requirements.
• Planning the numbers & type of vehicle as per Consignee order
• Monitor inbound and outbound logistics activities to achieve service level targets.
• Ensure to avoid delivery delays and transportation disruptions.

3.2 Invoice Processing & Freight Cost Control

• Process logistics and transportation invoices accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Verify freight bills against approved rates and contracts.
• Support freight cost optimization and cost-saving initiatives.

3.3 E-Way Bill & Regulatory Compliance

• Generate accurate E-Way Bills for all applicable shipments.
• Ensure compliance with GST regulations and transportation documentation requirements.
• Maintain audit-ready records and documentation.

3.4. SAP Data Management

• Ensure timely and accurate transaction updates in SAP.
• Maintain shipment, inventory, billing, and dispatch records with high data accuracy.
• Support inventory reconciliation and stock movement tracking.

3.5. Excel, Power BI Reporting & Analytics

• Develop and maintain logistics, warehouse dashboards and performance reports.
• Analyse transportation costs, delivery performance, and inventory trends.
• Provide actionable insights for decision-making.

3.6. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination

• Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure smooth material movement.
• Monitor inventory levels and support stock accuracy initiatives.
• Facilitate timely material availability for customer deliveries.

3.7. Vendor & Transporter Management

• Coordinate with transporters to ensure adherence for truck placement for loading & maintain Ontime delivery schedules.
• Monitor transporter performance and resolve operational issues.

3.8. Customer Service & Stakeholder Coordination

• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Warehouse teams.
• Address customer delivery concerns and ensure timely resolution.
• Improve customer satisfaction through efficient logistics execution.

3.9. Record Maintenance

• Maintain logistics and compliance records for audit readiness.
• Ensure availability of ISO audit documents and records.
• Track and close audit observations with proper documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3-6 Year of Experience in logistics & warehouse
• Bachelors degree
• Knowledge of logistics, transportation, inventory, and supply chain operations.
• Hands-on experience in SAP, invoice processing, freight reconciliation and E-Way Bill generation.
• Proficiency in MS office, Excel, Power BI, MIS reporting, data analysis, and MS Excel.

Understanding of GST compliance, shipping documentation, and vendor/transporter coordination.
