Role Overview

The Execution Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and successfully completing interior projects within the agreed timeline, budget, quality standards, and scope.

The person will act as the key link between the client, design team, sales team, procurement team, vendors, site engineers, and installation teams.

The role requires strong ownership of project timelines, site progress, workmanship, material availability, team productivity, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Handover & Planning
• Take complete project handover from the Sales and Design teams.
• Understand approved designs, drawings, BOQs, specifications, materials, and client requirements.
• Review project scope, timelines, dependencies, and execution requirements before commencing work.
• Prepare a detailed project execution plan and milestone schedule.
• Identify potential execution challenges before work begins.
• Ensure all required drawings, measurements, approvals, and material specifications are available before execution.
• Site Execution Management
• Take overall responsibility for the execution of assigned interior projects.
• Monitor day-to-day progress across multiple project sites.
• Ensure execution is carried out strictly as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate civil, electrical, plumbing, false ceiling, painting, carpentry, modular installation, stone/countertop, glass, hardware, and other interior works.
• Ensure work is completed according to the approved sequence and project schedule.
• Conduct regular site inspections.
• Resolve site-level issues quickly to avoid delays.
• Project Scheduling & Timeline Management
• Prepare and monitor project-wise execution schedules.
• Establish clear start and completion dates for each activity.
• Track critical milestones and dependencies.
• Ensure materials, manpower, and vendors are available according to the schedule.
• Identify delays and take corrective action immediately.
• Escalate major risks or timeline deviations to management.
• Ensure projects are completed within the committed handover timeline.
• Manpower & Vendor Management
• Allocate and coordinate manpower across project sites.
• Manage carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, ceiling teams, installers, fabricators, and other site workers.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors.
• Monitor vendor performance, productivity, workmanship, and timelines.
• Ensure sufficient manpower is available at critical stages of the project.
• Address manpower shortages and vendor-related delays proactively.
• Maintain strong working relationships with reliable vendors and contractors.
• Material & Procurement Coordination
• Coordinate with the Procurement and Stores teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Track material requirements against the project schedule.
• Ensure materials delivered to site match approved specifications.
• Prevent material shortages from affecting execution.
• Monitor material handling and storage at site.
• Identify damaged, incorrect, or missing materials immediately.
• Coordinate replacements and rectification wherever required.
• Quality Control
• Ensure all work meets Vaastukalpaa's quality standards.
• Conduct regular quality inspections at various stages of execution.
• Check dimensions, alignment, finishing, hardware installation, joints, edges, laminates, shutters, electrical points, plumbing, and other execution details.
• Ensure execution matches approved designs and drawings.
• Identify defects and ensure rectification within defined timelines.
• Conduct pre-handover quality inspections.
• Maintain a strong focus on finishing quality and attention to detail.
• Client Coordination
• Act as the primary execution point of contact for the client wherever required.
• Provide clients with regular updates on project progress.
• Coordinate site visits and execution-related discussions.
• Understand and address client concerns professionally.
• Manage client expectations regarding timelines, site conditions, and execution limitations.
• Ensure any client-requested changes are properly documented and approved before execution.
• Maintain a positive client experience throughout the project.
• Change Request & Additional Work Management
• Identify changes requested by clients after design approval.
• Coordinate with the Design and Sales teams for scope validation.
• Ensure additional work is not executed without appropriate approval.
• Communicate cost and timeline implications of changes to the concerned teams.
• Maintain proper documentation of approved changes.
• Ensure revised requirements are communicated to all relevant execution teams.
