ApplyBoard is seeking a results-driven Events Manager to own our ApplyBoard-led global events strategy from A to Z. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of a diverse events portfolio to elevate brand visibility, engage partners, and drive revenue pipeline.
End-to-end execution: Own all phases of event lifecycle management from initial strategy and timeline planning to on-site logistics and post-event wrap-ups.
Portfolio management: Oversee and deliver three distinct categories of events:
Small-scale: Regional workshops, dinners, and meetings focused on tight admin, logistics, and localized marketing assets.
Medium-scale: Multi-city global tours and regional Partner Connect and Prime Summit series requiring complex stakeholder coordination.
Large-scale: Flagship annual conference(s) featuring full-scale production, 1,000+ attendees, and 70+ sponsors/exhibitors. (Example)
Vendor and budget control: Support contract negotiations with venues, production agencies, and suppliers globally to ensure cost-efficiency and strict budget management.
Asset creation and marketing: Collaborate with creative and product marketing squads to build high-impact event assets (digital campaigns, signage, print collateral, and swag).
ROI analysis: Track event performance; conduct rigorous post-event analysis to measure impact on qualified pipeline and lead conversion.
5+ years of experience in corporate event planning and management, ideally within a high-growth tech, B2B SaaS, or EdTech environment.
Proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder conferences (1,000+ guests) and international logistics; and working with vendors and contract negotiation.
Strong commercial negotiation skills, exceptional cross-functional project management, and a hands-on, execution-oriented mindset.
Highly organized and a strong project manager with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and tight deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, control situations, and provide leadership to cross‑functional staff.
A dynamic personality with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills demonstrated by a strong network of contacts and relationships.
As required, ability to work outside of regular hours, occasional weekends, and travel globally.
