Role Overview

As a WMS Production Support Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical point of contact for ensuring the stability and performance of Warehouse Management Systems for our global clients. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, including supply chain consultants and infrastructure engineers, to troubleshoot critical incidents, resolve complex application issues, and optimize system workflows. Your work directly impacts the operational efficiency of large‑scale distribution centers, ensuring that supply chain processes remain uninterrupted and high‑performing.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve complex production incidents and application bugs to minimize downtime and ensure seamless warehouse operations for end-users.
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring system issues to implement permanent technical fixes and improve overall system reliability.
• Monitor WMS application performance and database health to proactively identify bottlenecks before they impact business operations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and client IT teams to manage system upgrades, patches, and hotfix deployments in production environments.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for support processes and knowledge base articles to streamline troubleshooting efforts across the team.
• Manage service requests and incident tickets within defined SLAs to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and operational transparency.

Required Skillset

• Demonstrated expertise in supporting and troubleshooting Warehouse Management Systems, with a strong understanding of supply chain workflows and inventory management logic.
• Proficiency in writing and debugging complex SQL queries for database analysis and data extraction within an enterprise environment.
• Proven ability to manage high‑pressure production environments, demonstrating strong analytical thinking and systematic problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication abilities to effectively bridge the gap between technical teams and non‑technical business stakeholders during incident resolution.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, coupled with 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in application support.
