Job summary

Rollick Ice Cream in Kolkata seeks a Sr. Deputy Manager / Manager IT (WMS) to lead and support our Warehouse Management System across multiple sites. You will coordinate with warehouse, logistics and IT teams to optimize processes and ensure smooth system operation.

The role requires strong WMS know-how, ERP/SAP integration experience, and solid SQL/API skills to manage data, reporting and security. You will drive automation, maintain master data, and deliver MIS dashboards, training, and SOPs.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E./MCA/BCA or equivalent IT qualification.
• 5–10 years in IT/WMS, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, logistics or supply-chain environments.
• Strong knowledge of WMS and ERP/SAP integration.
• Experience with SQL and API interfaces.
• Stakeholder management and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support WMS applications across warehouses and manufacturing locations.
• Configure and maintain WMS modules related to inbound, put-away, inventory, picking, packing, dispatch and stock movement.
• Integrate WMS with ERP/SAP, SFA, barcode/RFID and other business applications.
• Monitor system performance and resolve WMS-related issues within defined timelines.
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, supply chain and IT teams for process improvement.
• Manage master data, user access, workflows and system configurations.
• Prepare MIS, dashboards and reports related to warehouse operations.
• Identify opportunities for WMS automation and process improvement.
• Coordinate with external WMS vendors for implementation, support and troubleshooting.
• Ensure data accuracy, system security, backup and compliance.
• Provide user training and prepare SOPs/documentation.
