Job Summary

Provides application or infrastructure technical expertise, analysis and specifications for IT systems to meet business requirements in accordance with IT architecture policies and standards; translate requirements into technical specifications, create detailed solution design, coordinate construction, installation, configuration and testing of IT systems; and identifies, troubleshoots and resolves system technical issues.

Technical Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and managing the technical specifications that define programs and configurations for applications, infrastructure or complete solutions.
• Conduct technical analysis of potential solutions, evaluating commercial off‑the‑shelf products versus custom‑built alternatives.
• Deliver solution design, complying with standards and leveraging component reuse.
• Create high‑level and detailed designs of infrastructure or applications, interfaces, conversions, extensions, reports, and workflows to meet architecture, security, performance, scalability, and maintainability requirements.
• Assist technical and infrastructure groups in interpreting the solution design and specifications.
• Collaborate with IT technical service providers to ensure outsourced work packages meet specifications, quality, schedule, cost, security, performance, and scalability parameters.
• Participate in formal design reviews and code reviews to ensure detailed design specifications are understood and coding standards are followed.
• Leverage reusable component designs to reduce costs and shorten delivery time.
• Ensure efficiency in build and deploy processes, leveraging automation where possible.

The IT Technical Analyst – Blue Yonder WMS is responsible for driving functional excellence across warehouse operations by configuring BY WMS capabilities, supporting day‑to‑day system needs, and ensuring process alignment with business requirements. This role acts as the bridge between operations, IT development teams, and business stakeholders to deliver stable, scalable solutions.

Blue Yonder WMS Responsibilities

• Partner with warehouse operations to understand process needs and translate them into BY WMS functional requirements.
• Perform system configuration (locations, picking strategies, rules, work templates, allocation methods, user roles).
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for production issues and collaborate with technical teams for permanent fixes.
• Support SIT/UAT testing , validate end‑to‑end flows, and ensure data accuracy across integrated systems.
• Maintain functional documentation , workflow diagrams, SOPs, and configuration logs.
• Develop and optimize MOCA scripts, DDA screens, integrator interfaces , and SQL queries for performance and stability.
• Maintain documentation including technical designs, data flows, integration maps, test cases , and deployment standards.
• Manage enhancement requests, prioritize functional backlog, and coordinate deployment with project teams.
• Monitor system integrations and coordinate with ERP/TMS specialists for data alignment.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, change management processes, and audit/regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Strong functional knowledge of warehouse operations and BY WMS modules (Receiving, Inventory, Picking, Shipping).
• 5–7 years of hands‑on experience supporting and developing Blue Yonder/JDA/RedPrairie WMS for at least two major Greenfield or Brownfield roll‑outs.
• Ability to interpret MOCA logs and troubleshoot functional issues.
• Experience with SQL queries for data validation.
• Excellent communication skills to interface with cross‑functional teams and business users.
• College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience.
• Intermediate level of relevant work experience (3–5 years).
• Position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
