Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Ericsson Dynamic Activation (EDA1.0, EDA 2.0) Specialist with strong Java development and business configuration expertise to support service orchestration, fulfillment, and assurance activities within telecom BSS environments. The specialist will coordinate, manage, and execute proactive and reactive maintenance activities requiring advanced technical support while ensuring timely and accurate implementation of change requests across service activation platforms.
Core Responsibilities
- Configure and implement service activation workflows within Ericsson Dynamic Activation.
- Allocate, implement, configure, activate, and test specific services or resources.
- Ensure technical solutions are delivered in accordance with agreed change requests and specifications.
- Act on complex service/resource requirements requiring high-level network knowledge and end‑to‑end understanding.
- Support service provisioning, product modeling and orchestration logic configuration.
- Ensure continuous service availability and performance in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Perform trend analysis to proactively detect potential failures and service degradation.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for service activation failures.
- Ensure stability and optimization of the activation platform.
- Develop custom Java modules, plug‑ins and extensions within EDA.
- Implement validation rules, orchestration handlers and integration components.
- Develop and maintain REST/SOAP APIs for OSS/BSS integration.
- Handle XML/JSON payload transformations and service logic enhancements.
- Optimize code performance and ensure system robustness.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams (Operations, Architecture, Integration).
- Develop and maintain new Northbound (NBI) and Southbound (SBA) adaptations using protocols like CAI3G, SOAP, REST, DB and Diameter.
- Use the SDK to develop and deploy custom Java‑based extensions.
- Collect new change‑request requirements, prepare low‑level designs for EDA and execute the development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or related field.
- Experience in telecom OSS/BSS environments.
- Hands‑on experience with Dynamic Activation1.0 and Dynamic Activation2.0.
- Proficient in Java (Core Java, Spring Framework).
- Experience developing REST/SOAP web services.
- Familiarity with Linux environments.
- Strong knowledge of telecom service provisioning and fulfillment concepts.
- Experience in SLA‑driven operational environments.
