• ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator is a must.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Engineering Manager - ServiceNow CMDB

In this role, you will lead the design, delivery, and ongoing enhancement of ServiceNow ITOM, ITAM, and CMDB solutions. The role is suited for an experienced leader who brings deep ServiceNow platform knowledge, strong delivery oversight, and hands-on implementation experience across complex enterprise environments.

Work you'll do

As an Engineering Manager on the ServiceNow team, you will be responsible for the technical delivery, implementation, and ongoing optimization of ServiceNow solutions.

• Create, configure, and lead ServiceNow ITOM/ITAM/CMDB technical implementations.
• Create and configure script objects such as Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies and Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs.
• Set up interfaces between ServiceNow and other platforms in line with integration opportunities identified by Solution Architects.
• Perform system and integration testing.
• Configure MID Servers and integrate them with diverse network devices, servers, and applications for automated asset discovery.
• Define and deploy service maps to visualize relationships between IT components and ensure proactive incident management.
• Perform workflow design, configuration, development, and data loads for the ServiceNow platform and applications.
• Review code to ensure best standards and practices are implemented by the technical team.
• Provide support and guidance to development teams during analysis, development, and testing processes.
• Work with SMEs, Leads, Managers, Resources, and Project/Delivery Managers on solution finalization, estimates, and delivery timelines.
• Work with project and delivery managers to build proof of concept, prototype, and sample development.
• Support the transition of won opportunities and the initial stages of the Discovery Phase, including agenda finalization, material preparation, dry runs, and engagement execution.

The team

The team delivers ServiceNow capabilities that help enable enterprise operations, visibility, and service management. The team works across implementation, integration, platform administration, and continuous improvement initiatives spanning ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, and related platform capabilities. Team members collaborate with architects, delivery leads, and stakeholders across geographies to deliver scalable solutions aligned to business and technology needs.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM IST

Qualifications

Required:

• 10-13 years of experience.
• At least 6-7 years of experience in ServiceNow ITAM/ITOM/CMDB implementations.
• At least 5+ years of ServiceNow team lead experience and people management.
• ServiceNow scripting experience using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, and REST/SOAP Web Services.
• Understanding and experience of Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, and all scripted aspects of ServiceNow.
• Hands-on with ITAM products like Hardware Asset Management and Software Asset Management.
• Hands-on with ITOM products like Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
• Hands-on with CMDB management and administration and Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
• Strong knowledge of integrations and migrations.
• Deep functional and technical knowledge of the ServiceNow platform as well as experience delivering medium to large-scale ServiceNow implementations.
• Configure MID Servers and integrate them with diverse network devices, servers, and applications for automated asset discovery.
• ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator is a must.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Preferred:

• ServiceNow Implementation Specialist & CAD is a great bonus.
