An Engineering Manager is responsible for owning, leading, managing, planning, and executing projects with great leadership qualities.

Technical

• Candidate should have worked on building Enterprise Solutions and performed Software Design & Architecture activities.
• Candidate should be able to articulate business requirements into Technical specifications.
• Candidate should be well versed with code reviews, programming, providing technical guidance to team members, and resolving technical impediments/blockers.
• Candidate should have experience with object‑oriented technologies such as .Net, Java, etc.
• Candidate should have experience in client‑side technologies like JavaScript, jQuery, and other technologies.

Project Management

• Candidate should be able to manage multiple projects.
• Should have extensive experience managing various project management knowledge areas such as Scope management, Schedule Management, Cost Management, Risk Management, Human Resource Management, Quality Management, and Stakeholder Management.
• Good to have some pre‑sales experience.
• Good to have performed project effort estimations, resource estimations, client management, and resolution of escalations.
• Should be willing to take complete ownership of deliverables and hold themselves accountable.
• Should be able to work independently and make major project decisions with minimal supervision.
• Should work closely with senior management to identify and suggest areas of improvement for any aspect that impacts the organization.

People Management

• Candidate should be a team player and lead from the front.
• Should have conducted employee assessments and performance reviews.
• Should be able to motivate the team and resolve conflicts and interpersonal issues.
• Should be able to grow the team, conduct training programs, identify areas of improvement, and address people, process, or organizational issues.
