Qualifications

Position Summary

Inventory & Asset Management Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the end-to-end lifecycle of assets within a laboratory or technical environment. This role drives asset visibility, compliance, audit readiness, and operational efficiency through effective asset tracking, data analytics, dashboard development, and process automation. The analyst partners closely with Lab Operations, Finance, IT, Procurement, and Engineering teams to ensure asset accuracy, maximize resource utilization, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Asset Lifecycle Management

• Manage the complete asset lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, transfer, maintenance, recovery, and retirement.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, financial regulations, and Fixed Asset Register (FAR) requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and traceability throughout the asset lifecycle.

Dashboard Development & Reporting

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports.
• SQL queries to provide actionable insights and performance metrics.
• Develop automated reporting solutions to support operational and leadership decision-making.

Data Integrity & System Management

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across asset management platforms such as ServiceNow, BLE/RFID, or equivalent systems.
• Conduct regular audits and data validation activities to maintain high-quality asset records.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and improve data governance.

Audit & Compliance Support

• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and asset traceability.
• Maintain audit-ready records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Assist in developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Lab Operations, Finance, IT, Procurement, and Engineering teams to standardize asset management practices.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communicate asset-related insights and recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across inventory and asset management processes.

Automation & Process Optimization

• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational scalability.
• Implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
• Leverage data analytics tools to reduce administrative effort and improve productivity.

Asset Recovery & Cost Optimization

• Lead asset recovery, redeployment, and reuse programs to maximize utilization and reduce costs.
• Analyze asset trends and recommend strategies for inventory optimization and cost savings.
• Track and report realized savings and efficiency gains from asset management initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Inventory Management, Asset Management, or Lab Operations.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or any ERP tools and asset management systems.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management principles.
• Knowledge of FAR audit compliance, inventory controls, and governance processes.
