Job summary

Triveni Enterprises in India, Karnataka, Konadasapura seeks an experienced stamping press operator to support the stamping line. The candidate will handle stamping operations, die setting, and changeovers, ensuring quality and efficiency on the shop floor.

Required are hands-on experience with stamping dies, knowledge of sheet-metal behaviours, and the ability to troubleshoot defects. The role involves reading drawings and coordinating with press-shop teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Hands-on stamping press operations experience required.
• Solid knowledge of press machines and press shop production.
• Expertise with stamping dies and press tools.
• Die setting and changeover experience required.
• Experience with blanking, piercing, bending, forming, drawing and trimming.
• Ability to troubleshoot stamping defects.
• Understanding of sheet-metal grades, thickness and material behaviour.
• Experience with die trials and tool setting.
• Knowledge of production parameters, rejection, rework and downtime.
• Experience handling press-shop operators.
• Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, OEE, quality and safety.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances.
