Job summary

D-tech Management Resource in Haryana, Jhajjar, India is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with 4-9 years experience in the steel industry to manage maintenance across CTL, annealing, pickling lines and rolling mills. Role requires BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, strong communication, and ability to coordinate with vendors.

You'll plan shutdowns, monitor performance, and ensure ISO documentation.

Qualifications

• Maintenance of breakdowns and routine maintenance across steel mill lines.
• Plan preventive, corrective and routine maintenance.
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems including high/low pressure packs.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
• Plan material requirements for monthly and major shutdowns.
• Carry out ISO documentation and breakdown reports.
• Engage in vendor follow-ups and sphere parts maintenance.
• Maintain and inspect rolling mill equipment to avoid breakdowns.

Responsibilities

• Monitor breakdowns and maintenance of CTL, Annealing Line, Pickling Line, 4 Hi & 20 Hi Mill.

Responsibilities:-

• Monitoring of Break Down & Maintenance (CTL, Annealing Line, Pickling Line, 4 Hi & 20 Hi Mill).
• Planning of preventive, corrective & routine maintenance.
• Maintenance of High pressure Hydraulic power pack system
• Maintenance of Low pressure Hydraulic power pack system.
• Maintenance of Coolant system.
• Maintenance of hydraulic & pneumatic machine.
• Maintenance of EOT crane.
• Troubleshooting in Hydraulics & Pneumatic systems.
• Responsible to plan material requirement for monthly and major shutdowns and monitor the performance of shutdowns.
• Manpower planning Knowledge of utility equipments.
• nspection of Rolling Mill equipments to avoid break down
• Maintain of ISO related documents & break down reports.

Computer Skilled :-

• Computer usage for Performance monitoring: Developed periodical performance monitoring system through SAP/ERP/ Oracle with extensive use of computers at all levels.
