Job summary

D-tech Management Resource is seeking a skilled maintenance professional for our steel plant operations in Pune district. The role covers maintenance of CCM, SMS, EAF, LRF, and related systems, with emphasis on preventive, predictive, and shutdown planning.

The candidate will oversee instrumentation, automation controls, and DCS interfaces, while coordinating with statutory and safety requirements. Strong planning, troubleshooting, and team coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in maintenance of CCM / SMS / EAF, LHF and VD.

Job Profile :-

• Responsible for Maintenance like CCM / SMS/ EAF,LHF and VD,
• Responsible for Maintenance of & Ladle Refining Furnace (LRF) and Electric Arc Furnace &
• To ensure Spares Availability at right time in right Place by Indenting, Regular Follow-up and Planning the Inventory for Entire LRF.
• Responsible for Service maintenance & break down trouble shooting of Arc Furnace E.O.T. Crane, A.O.D., V.O.D process.
• Responsible for complete maintenance & trouble shooting of all instrument of Steel Melt Shop (Liquid gas tank ,vaporizer, gas mixing station for A.O.D. ladle pre heating system and FES system).
• Responsible for engineering support to tackle & solve the problem. Execute the preventive maintenance schedule to achieve zero break down Planning and implementation of shut down programmed to achieve maintenance target.
• Preventive Maintenance Planning & execution.
• Inventory and Spares Management
• Maintenance of H.T., L.T. Equipments and Sub-stations
• Co-ordination with Statutory Authority.
• Failure Analysis of Equipments
• Planning and Implementing Predictive/Preventive/Shut down Schedules for machinery to increase machine up-time/equipment reliability.
• Managing the Functions of Troubleshooting and Preventive/Breakdown maintenance of various Electrical HT/LT Drives, VFD Drives, Soft Starter Drives, Automation Control System, HT/LT Substations, Utilities, and Various other equipments to reduce downtime to minimum.

Project Planning and Execution

• Planning, scoping, estimation, tracking & implementation of project plans within preset budgets and deadlines and coordinating projects for the set up facilities.
• Handling techno-commercial operations involving tendering, costing and scheduling of projects.
• Preparing maintenance/services schedules, conducting regular calibrations to ensure the performance capacity of various process control equipments.

Instrumentation/ Control/ Industrial Automation

• Designing Automation & Control Systems involving logic development, configuration, programming and testing of Human Machine Interface.
• Coordinating the entire development including requirement analysis, finalizing specifications, selection of instruments, prototype development and testing activities.
• Preparing Technical Drawings/ Wiring Drawings/ Field Termination Charts/ Installation Procedures and Documents based on the functional specification and site requirements.
• Instrumentation of LSTK packages like Calciner, Crushing & Grinding, Evaporators, and conveying and bulk packaging/loading.
• Third party PLC interfaces to M/s Honeywells Experion PKS DCS.
• Mentoring a maintenance team to take over the maintenance of the instrumentation and DCS maintenance.

Process Improvement :-

• Analyzing various processes / applications and recommending process modifications and equipment calibrations to enhance operational efficiency.
• Implementing major cost savings strategies, productivity enhancements & GMS improvements.
• Ensuring complete in-process quality control & continuous improvement in process capabilities.
• Foreseeing performance bottlenecks and taking corrective measures to avoid the same Maintenance and Trouble Shooting.
• Planning and effecting preventive & predictive maintenance / overhauling / repair schedules of various machineries & instruments to increase machine up time and long term equipment reliability.
• Proactively identifying areas of obstruction/breakdowns and taking corrective measures / steps to rectify the equipments through application of trouble shooting tools.
• Ensuring all the machineries work efficiently by conducting timely checks & measures.

Erection & Commissioning

• Preparing layouts for the project as per the process and material flow needs.
• Foreseeing performance bottlenecks and taking corrective measures to avoid the same.
• Site preparations, mobilization of contractors for carrying out erection activities.
• Ensuring effective site management and discipline to ensure safe execution of the projects.
• Erection, commissioning of equipment's, providing utility services to the equipment.
• Designing, implementing and monitoring effective procurement schedules along with finalizing the specifications of the spare parts & establishing the quality & quantity limits.

Computer Skilled :

• Computer usage for Performance monitoring: Developed periodical performance monitoring system through SAP with extensive use of computers at all legal
