Job summary

alfanar is seeking an experienced tendering and estimation professional to support Substation and T&D project bids in India. You will review tenders, prepare techno-commercial bids, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure competitive, compliant proposals.

The role involves cost estimation, BOQ preparation, vendor evaluation, and active participation in pre-bid meetings to secure successful project handovers after award.

Qualifications

• Experience in tendering and estimation for AIS/GIS substations and T&D projects.
• Proficiency in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and bid costing.
• Strong vendor coordination and RFQ/RFP management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze tender documents, RFQs, RFPs, BOQs, and contract requirements for Substation and T&D projects.
• Prepare techno-commercial bids for AIS/GIS Substations, Transmission Lines, and Distribution Network projects.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Contracts, Finance, and Project teams during bid preparation.
• Perform quantity take-offs, cost estimation, bid costing, and pricing analysis.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare techno-commercial comparisons and vendor evaluations.
• Identify project risks, bid exclusions, qualifications, and commercial deviations.
• Prepare compliance matrices, bid bonds, tender checklists, and submission documents.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, client discussions, and site visits.
• Support contract finalization and smooth handover of awarded projects to execution teams.
