Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in quality control and inspection of fabrication components. The role requires hands-on measurement, use of precision instruments, and knowledge of ASME Sec 9, WPS and PQR.

The candidate should be proficient in preparing QAPs and CTQs and be an ISO 9001 internal auditor. The ideal person will work closely with the fabrication team, ensuring adherence to quality standards and contributing to

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in QC and fabrication inspection.
• Hands-on measurement using precision instruments.
• Knowledge of ASME Sec 9, WPS and PQR.
• Experience in QAP and inspection protocols/CTQs.
• Internal auditor in ISO 9001.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fabrication components and perform quality checks.
• Prepare and review inspection plans and CTQs.
• Participate in root cause analysis for quality issues.
• Coordinate with fabrication team for process improvements.

Job description

Applicant should be Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, with minimum 5years' experience in Quality Control and inspection of Fabrication components.

• Should have process knowledge of Fabrication.
• Should have hands on experience in measurement, handling of measuring instruments & Painting inspection.
• Should have knowledge of ASME Sec 9, WPS and PQR.
• Should have knowledge of material.
• Should be Qualified in ASNT level II certification in NDT techniques - VT , UT, MT and PT.
• Should have experience in Preparation of QAP and Inspection protocol/CTQ's.
• Should be an internal auditor in ISO 9001.
• Should have Good Communication skills and comfortable to work in team.
• Should have knowledge of steam Turbine and Generators components. Preferable
• Should have knowledge of investigative techniques- GOF, RCA, LFF,3H, Pareto analysis...
