Job summary

Saur Energy International in Mumbai invites an Engineer - Offshore Structures to join our offshore team. The role focuses on FEED, design and detail engineering of fixed/floating offshore oil & gas facilities, reporting to the Head of Offshore Structures.

You will apply structural analysis and prepare MTOs for Topsides, Jackets and FPSO modules. Required is 3–6 years of relevant experience, familiarity with API RP-2A and recognized offshore codes, and proficiency with SACS and Navisworks/Smart

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of FEED, design and detail engineering experience for EPCIC offshore projects.
• Experience with structural analysis and design of topside decks, jackets, and FPSO modules.
• Familiar with offshore codes such as API RP-2A (WSD), AISC-ASD, NORSOK N-004, EURO-3, ISO 19900.
• Experience using SACS for pre-service and in-service analysis.
• Ability to prepare structural design reports and MTOs.
• Experience reviewing 3D models using Navisworks/Smart Plant Review.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Engineer - Offshore Structures, reporting directly to HOD – Offshore Structural to join our Offshore Structural team based in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee and manage the responsibilities below.

• Experience in FEED, Design & detail engineering of EPCIC Projects of Fixed/Floating Offshore Oil & Gas production/processing facilities.
• Candidate shall have good exposures to Structural analysis and design of Topside decks and/or Jackets and/or FPSO modules.
• Well versed with API-RP-2A (WSD), AISC-ASD and other relevant codes and standards such as NORSOK N-004, EURO-3, ISO 19900 series of Offshore codes.
• Candidate should have good experience in using SACS for Pre-service and In-service analysis of Topside decks, Jackets and FPSO modules.
• Candidate should be able to carry out these analysis independently and prepare Structural design reports and generate MTOs.
• Should have good experience in Structural drawing checking and preparation of Weight Control reports. Candidate should have experience of reviewing 3D models using Navisworks/Smart plant review.
