Job summary

Technip Energies in Mumbai seeks an Engineer - Offshore Structures to join its Offshore Structural team. You will contribute to FEED, design and detail engineering for fixed and floating offshore facilities, reporting to the HOD. The role emphasizes structural analysis, code compliance, and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of FEED/design experience, fluency in English, and a BE in Civil (ME preferred). The position is based in Mumbai with an on-site work model.

Qualifications

• Experience in FEED, design & detail engineering of EPCIC Projects offshore.
• Proficient in structural analysis and design of topside decks, jackets, or FPSO modules.
• Familiar with API-RP-2A (WSD), AISC-ASD, NORSOK N-004, EURO-3, ISO 19900 offshore codes.
• Ability to generate MTOs and prepare structural design reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform FEED, design & detail engineering for offshore EPCIC projects.
• Carry out structural analysis for topside decks, jackets, or FPSO modules.
• Prepare structural design reports and MTOs; ensure conformity with codes.
• Review 3D models using Navisworks/SmartPlant Review; verify drawings and weight control.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project alignment.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Engineer - Offshore Structures, reporting directly to HOD – Offshore Structural to join our Offshore Structural team based in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience in FEED, Design & detail engineering of EPCIC Projects of Fixed/Floating Offshore Oil & Gas production/processing facilities.
• Candidate shall have good exposures to Structural analysis and design of Topside decks and/or Jackets and/or FPSO modules.
• Well versed with API-RP-2A (WSD), AISC-ASD and other relevant codes and standards such as NORSOK N-004, EURO-3, ISO 19900 series of Offshore codes.
• Candidate should have good experience in using SACS for Pre-service and In-service analysis of Topside decks, Jackets and FPSO modules.
• Candidate should be able to carry out these analysis independently and prepare Structural design reports and generate MTOs.
• Should have good experience in Structural drawing checking and preparation of Weight Control reports. Candidate should have experience of reviewing 3D models using Navisworks/Smart plant review.
