Job summary

Saur Energy International in Mumbai seeks an Engineer - Offshore Structures to join our Offshore Structural team. This role reports to HOD – Offshore Structural and focuses on FEED, design and detail engineering for fixed and floating offshore oil and gas facilities.

You will apply API RP-2A, NORSOK N-004, EURO-3, and ISO 19900 standards, perform structural analysis of topsides, jackets and FPSO modules, and use SACS for pre- and in-service assessment.

Qualifications

• Experience in FEED, design and detail engineering for offshore EPCIC projects.
• Proven ability to perform structural analysis for topside decks, jackets or FPSO modules.
• Familiarity with API RP-2A, NORSOK N-004, EURO-3 and ISO 19900 series Offshore codes.
• Proficient use of SACS for pre-service and in-service analysis.
• Ability to prepare structural design reports and MTOs.
• Experience reviewing 3D models with Navisworks/Smart Plant Review.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Engineer - Offshore Structures, reporting directly to HOD – Offshore Structural to join our Offshore Structural team based in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee and manage the responsibilities below.

• Experience in FEED, Design & detail engineering of EPCIC Projects of Fixed/Floating Offshore Oil & Gas production/processing facilities.
• Candidate shall have good exposures to Structural analysis and design of Topside decks and/or Jackets and/or FPSO modules.
• Well versed with API-RP-2A (WSD), AISC-ASD and other relevant codes and standards such as NORSOK N-004, EURO-3, ISO 19900 series of Offshore codes.
• Candidate should have good experience in using SACS for Pre-service and In-service analysis of Topside decks, Jackets and FPSO modules.
• Candidate should be able to carry out these analysis independently and prepare Structural design reports and generate MTOs.
• Should have good experience in Structural drawing checking and preparation of Weight Control reports. Candidate should have experience of reviewing 3D models using Navisworks/Smart plant review.
