Job summary

Technip Energies seeks an Offshore Structural Engineer for its Mumbai team. You will oversee FEED, design and detail engineering for fixed/floating offshore facilities, focusing on topside decks, jackets, and FPSO modules.

Ideal candidates bring 3–8 years of FEED and offshore design experience, with proficiency in SACS and Navisworks/SmartPlant Review, and familiarity with API RP-2A and NORSOK codes.

Qualifications

• Experience in FEED, design & detail engineering of EPCIC projects for fixed/floating offshore oil & gas facilities.
• Proficient in structural analysis and design of topside decks, jackets, and FPSO modules.
• Knowledge of API RP-2A, NORSOK N-004, EURO-3, ISO 19900 offshore codes.
• Experience using SACS for pre-service and in-service analysis.
• Ability to prepare structural design reports and MTOs; review 3D models.
• Good drawing checking and weight control report experience; Navisworks/SmartPlant Review familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Generate structural design reports and material takeoffs (MTOs).
• Check drawings and contribute to weight control documentation.

About the mission we offer you

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee and manage the responsibilities below.

• Experience in FEED, Design & detail engineering of EPCIC Projects of Fixed/Floating Offshore Oil & Gas production/processing facilities.
• Candidate shall have good exposures to Structural analysis and design of Topside decks and/or Jackets and/or FPSO modules.
• Well versed with API-RP-2A (WSD), AISC-ASD and other relevant codes and standards such as NORSOK N-004, EURO-3, ISO 19900 series of Offshore codes.
• Candidate should have good experience in using SACS for Pre-service and In-service analysis of Topside decks, Jackets and FPSO modules.
• Candidate should be able to carry out these analysis independently and prepare Structural design reports and generate MTOs.
• Should have good experience in Structural drawing checking and preparation of Weight Control reports. Candidate should have experience of reviewing 3D models using Navisworks/Smart plant review.
