Job summary

Panasonic Life Solutions India seeks a skilled technician to handle PLC programming, servo and VFD commissioning, and HMI design within a manufacturing setting.

The role covers installation, start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Mitsubishi/Delta PLCs, HMIs (Mitsubishi, Pro-face, Weinview), and related electrical/pneumatic diagrams, with daily monitoring of machine efficiency and strict audit record maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing.
• Diploma or BE/BTech in Electrical & Electronics with 5+ years PLC programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Detailed knowledge on PLC programming ladder logic (Mitsubishi, Delta).
• Proficiency in servo installation and commissioning (Mitsubishi).
• HMI designing (Mitsubishi, ProFace, Weinview).
• Reading and interpreting electrical and pneumatic diagrams.
• Knowledge of VFD installation and commissioning.
• Maintain and manage stocks of machinery equipment.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency by automating processes and safety.
• Finish tasks within time bounds.
• Maintain audit documents (History card, RCA, Periodic Preventive Maintenance, OEE, MTTR, MTBF).
• Experience in installation, start-up, commissioning and programming.
• Wiring and testing of control panels.
• Troubleshoot all equipment and diagnose malfunctions.
• Extensive knowledge of pneumatics and electrical circuit and wiring.
• Daily monitoring of machine efficiency.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

• Ideally would require a candidate with minimum 5 years of relevant work experience from a manufacturing unit with flair to achieve its set objectives.
• Needs to demonstrate good man management skills while being able to multitask and work in cross functional teams
• Needs to have proven capability in driving cost initiatives, problem solving.
• Must demonstrate strong leadership, team building, interpersonal & analytical skills
• PLC Programming, HMI designing, Servo and VFD commissioning & Troubleshooting. Control panel wiring. Analysis and Documentation.
• Diploma or B.E / B.tech in Electrical & Electronics & Minimum 5 years of experience in PLC Programming Field
