Job summary

Honda India Power Products Ltd. is seeking an Engineer with a Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and hands-on experience in a machine shop.

The role focuses on achieving SQCDM targets through productivity improvements, process planning, and adherence to ISO 9001/14001 standards. The ideal candidate has proficiency in CNC turning, VMC, grinding, and SPM machines, with relevant experience in ERP inventory control and on-the-floor training.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Good knowledge of Computer is preferred.
• Experience in machine shop on CNC turning, VMC, grinding and SPM machines.
• Total experience: Diploma 4–6 years; B.Tech 2–4 years.

• Ensure day-to-day productivity as per norms.
• Training (OJT) line associates as per schedule.
• ISO 9001 & ISO14001 documentation control & updating.
• Productivity improvement through cycle time and setup time reduction.
• Cost reduction by process improvement.
• Implementation of QC tools & SQC techniques in shop.
• Inventory control in ERP and physically.
• Safety audits & discipline monitoring in the shop.
• Process planning & improvements.
• SQCD management in the shop.
• Production planning & monitoring.
• Daily & Monthly MIS preparation.

Specific experience : Alm., CI & Steel M/cing on CNC Turing, VMC, Grinding & SPM M/Cs.

Overall experience :- Min.4~6 years’ Experience in Machine Shop for Diploma.

- Min. 2~4 Years Experience in Machine Shop B. Tech
