Job summary

Insight Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a skilled IT operations technician for a hybrid role across Delhi NCR and major Indian tech hubs, including Gurugram.

The role focuses on ITIL incident, request, and change management with hands-on experience in Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization platforms. Responsibilities include rapid incident resolution, ticket handling, and adherence to SLAs while communicating effectively in English with global clients.

Qualifications

• Participate in ITIL incidents, requests and changes.
• Resolve 80% or more incidents without escalation.
• Communicate in English for all client interactions, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Technicians will have seat adherence requirements and will be expected to maintain immediate availability to answer inbound calls from clients reporting or following up on tasks and tickets.
• Technicians will be expected to successfully prosecute work in priority order while meeting SLAs.
• Familiarity with NOC tools such as ScienceLogic and ServiceNow; manage Windows Server, Linux, VMWare, Proxmox, OpenShift, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Exchange and AD.

Job Summary

Technicians are primarily expected to participate in ITIL processes Incident, Request, and Change.
Technicians are expected to resolve 80% or more of all incidents assigned to them, without requiring escalation to higher level resources. As the primary intake and incident management team supporting clients, technicians are expected to conduct all business communications in English including verbal and written.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Technicians will have seat adherence requirements and will be expected to maintain immediate availability to answer inbound calls from clients calling to report or follow up on new or existing tasks and tickets.
• Technicians will be expected to successfully prosecute work, in order of priority, while adhering to committed service level agreements.
• Relevant familiarity with NOC systems and tools such as ScienceLogic, ServiceNow.
• Windows Server, Linux, VMWare Suite (VCF), Proxmox, Red Hat OpenShift, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Exchange and Active Directory, and similar enterprise vendor toolsets.

Key Technical Skills

• Bachelors degree or higher, focusing on IT, System Administration, or other related studies.
• Relevant 3 -5 years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience working in an enterprise operations center (NOC) or equivalent environment, providing remote troubleshooting, administration, support, and implementation of server technologies.
• Associate level knowledge of common enterprise systems and associated administration. Experience with Windows Server, Linux, VMWare Suite (VCF), Proxmox, Red Hat OpenShift, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Exchange and Active Directory.
