Vertiv in Maharashtra, India is seeking a skilled engineer to perform CFD analysis at system and component levels. The role involves using various software, conducting model checks, and providing design recommendations.
The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in thermal engineering with at least 3 years of experience in CFD analysis. Knowledge of datacenter operations and excellent problem-solving skills will be key in this role.
To perform CFD Analysis for system and component levels using different software such as Celsius EC & Reality DC from Cadence, Ansys Icepak, and having exposure in electronics cooling. The engineer will conduct model checks and/or create parametric models with available CAD packages and perform the sensitivity analysis independently with limited assistance. They should be able to generate the CFD mesh/model and run steady/transient flow/thermal analysis using various software and analyze the simulation results as well as prepare reports independently.
Utilize the analytical skill set and simulation tools to analyze fluid flow systems and provide recommendations for design improvements. The engineer should have knowledge of fan operation and performance curve as well as flow bench / wind tunnel testing. They should be clear about temperature measurement and handling thermocouple sensors.
They will participate and support potential product development opportunities on a global level and provide technical expertise towards design. They must drive virtual testing and reduce physical tests, develop and improve current best practices of computational methods and hand calculations.
