Job summary

Seco Tools India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Engineer to support and optimize carbide insert periphery grinding operations in the Insets Production department.

The role focuses on process development, CNC program optimization, quality improvement, and driving continuous improvement in a world-class manufacturing setting. You will develop and troubleshoot grinding processes, analyze issues with structured problem solving, implement Lean, 5S, and Kaizen, and collaborate with Production, Quality,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in precision manufacturing, cutting tools, grinding, or carbide insert production.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments are achieved.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot periphery grinding processes and CNC programs.
• Drive productivity, quality, and cost improvement initiatives.
• Support new product introduction and process industrialization activities.
• Analyse and resolve manufacturing and quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives.
• Maintain process documentation and compliance with Quality Management Systems.

The role involves process development, CNC grinding program optimization, quality improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve world-class manufacturing performance.
