Job summary

CERATIZIT India Pvt. Ltd is looking for skilled CNC grinding operators to join our precision manufacturing team in India.

You will set up and run CNC cylindrical grinders, read drawings, and ensure tight tolerances using micrometers, bore gauges, and dial indicators. Ideal candidates have ITI/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and 2–5 years of CNC grinding experience, with knowledge of external and internal grinding processes.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of experience in CNC cylindrical grinding operations preferred.
• Experience in precision component manufacturing is an advantage.
• Experience operating or similar CNC cylindrical grinding machines.
• Knowledge of external, internal, and universal grinding processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Proficient in using micrometres, bore gauges, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Understanding of grinding wheels, dressing methods, and machining parameters.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC grinding machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and quality specifications.
• Perform wheel mounting, dressing, and balancing activities.
• Load, edit, and run CNC grinding programs.
• Monitor grinding parameters and optimize cycle times.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and TPM activities.
• Follow safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
• Report machine, tooling, or quality issues to the supervisor.
