Seco Tools India Pvt. Ltd. in Pune is seeking an Engineer - Carbide Insert Periphery Grinding (Job level P1) to optimize grinding operations, develop CNC programs and lead quality improvements. You will work with Production, Quality and Development teams to drive world-class manufacturing performance.

The role focuses on process development, problem solving, and continuous improvement, including Lean, 5S and Kaizen initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in precision manufacturing, grinding or carbide insert production.

Responsabilidades

• Meet production targets, quality standards and delivery commitments.
• Develop and optimize periphery grinding processes and CNC programs.
• Drive productivity, quality and cost improvement initiatives.
• Support new product introduction and process industrialization.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and technically competent Engineer to support and optimize carbide insert periphery grinding operations. The role involves process development, CNC grinding program optimization, quality improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve world-class manufacturing performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments are achieved.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot periphery grinding processes and CNC programs.
• Drive productivity, quality, and cost improvement initiatives.
• Support new product introduction and process industrialization activities.
• Analyse and resolve manufacturing and quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives.
• Maintain process documentation and compliance with Quality Management Systems.

Required Skills

• CNC Grinding Programming and Process Optimization
• Carbide Insert Manufacturing Knowledge, Drawing Reading, GD&T, and Metrology

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in precision manufacturing, cutting tools, grinding, or carbide insert production.
