CERATIZIT India Pvt. Ltd in Attibele, Karnataka, is seeking skilled tool grinders to manufacture and recondition cutting tools. The role requires operating CNC and conventional grinding machines and following drawings to meet required tolerances.

You will inspect precision tools, set up machines, and maintain quality while adhering to safety standards. Training opportunities and an attractive compensation package are offered.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
• 2–5 years of experience in tool and cutter grinding operations.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsabilités

• Operate tool and cutter grinding machines to manufacture and recondition cutting tools.
• Grind end mills, drills, reamers, form tools, PCD pocket, and special cutting tools as per drawings.
• Set up and adjust grinding machine parameters to achieve required dimensions and surface finish.
• Inspect tools using measuring instruments such as micrometres, verniers, profile projectors, and gauges.
• Maintain tool quality and adhere to specified tolerances.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping activities.
• Follow safety and quality standards.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Operate tool and cutter grinding machines to manufacture and recondition cutting tools.
• Grind end mills, drills, reamers, form tools, PCD pocket, and special cutting tools as per drawings.

Profile & Requirements

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in tool and cutter grinding operations.
• Knowledge of tool geometry and cutting tool applications.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with CNC and conventional tool grinding machines.
• Understanding of grinding wheels and dressing techniques.
• Good problem-solving and quality-conscious attitude.
