Job summary

JobTrade in Hyderabad, Telangana, India is seeking a Lead Assembly Technician with 3-8 years' experience in mechanical fitting and assembly to lead shop floor operations and ensure quality assembly per drawings and SOPs.

You will supervise sub-assembly and final assembly, train operators, maintain records, and drive productivity with a focus on 5S and safety on the line.

Qualifications

• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret tolerances.
• Knowledge of fits and tolerances and mechanical assembly methods.
• Experience with fastening and torque control and assembly sequencing.
• Hands-on use of assembly tools and measuring instruments; basic wiring knowledge.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks relevant to shop floor records.

Experience:

• 3-8 years of experience in mechanical fitting, mechanical assembly, incoming quality control, new product manufacturing, or production environments.
• Prior experience in robotics, automation, or Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) is highly desirable.
• Two-wheeler and four-wheeler workshop experience will also be considered.
• Experience in engine or gearbox overhaul and OEM/dealer workshops is preferred.
