Job summary

Dembla Valves is seeking a procurement professional to handle day-to-day purchasing of valve automation accessories and related items. The role focuses on ensuring timely availability, competitive pricing, and strict adherence to technical and customer requirements.

You will review BOMs and datasheets, coordinate with engineering and suppliers, and manage PO release and follow-up to meet project timelines. Strong MS Excel and ERP experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical or related discipline.
• Experience: 36 years in Purchase / Procurement, preferably in control valves, instrumentation, automation, pumps or industrial equipment.
• Good knowledge of valve automation accessories and basic understanding of technical datasheets.
• Experience in RFQ, quotation comparison, negotiation, PO processing and supplier follow-up.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel; SAP/ERP experience preferred.
• Good communication, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Candidates with experience handling OEMs / authorized distributors will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Procure actuators, positioners, solenoid valves, limit switches, AFRs, volume boosters, gearboxes and other valve accessories.
• Float RFQs, obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements and negotiate prices.
• Review BOMs, datasheets and specifications to ensure correct material/make is procured.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production and suppliers for technical clarifications and approvals.
• Release and follow up on Purchase Orders, ensuring timely delivery as per project/production requirements.
• Track critical and pending orders and proactively highlight delivery delays.
• Coordinate with suppliers for required test certificates, calibration reports and other quality documents.
• Support alternate supplier / alternate make development and cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier data and MIS in ERP / Excel.
