Job summary

Kusum is seeking a procurement specialist to manage the purchase of utility equipment and plant infrastructure for pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. The role requires handling PR/RFQ processes, technical evaluations, negotiations and documentation to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of procurement experience in related industries, with the ability to coordinate across Engineering, Projects, Maintenance, QA, EHS and Finance teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.Tech in mechanical, electrical or instrumentation disciplines is required.
• 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in pharma manufacturing.
• Experience handling PR/RFQ, technical evaluation, commercial negotiation, PO, expediting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Procure utility equipment, engineering items, plant infrastructure materials and MEP systems for pharmaceutical facilities.
• Ensure timely availability, competitive pricing, quality, and proper MIS reporting.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Projects, Maintenance, QA, EHS and Finance teams.

The candidate should be capable of procurement from PR RFQ Technical Evaluation Commercial Negotiation Approval PO Expediting Delivery Documentation.

Preferred exposure: Chillers, AHU, HVAC, compressors, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, RO/DM plants, ETP/STP, electrical systems, piping, valves, firefighting, cleanroom infrastructure and civil/MEP works.
