Job Title: Purchase Executive - Industrial Manufacturing (Pumps & Valves)
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to join our team at Sando Rotary Equipments PVT LTD.
In this role, you will manage day-to-day procurement operations to support our manufacturing of high-performance industrial pumps (including AODD, Centrifugal, and Submersible pumps) and industrial valves.
You will handle the end-to-end purchasing cycle from sending RFQs to vendors to coordinating final dispatches with our factory ensuring smooth, uninterrupted production.
Key Responsibilities :
- Vendor Management & Sourcing
- Sending detailed RFQs, technical drawings, and material requirements to vendors for raw materials, castings, components, and hardware.
- Searching for new vendors and specialized manufacturers to expand our supply base, secure alternative sourcing streams, and optimize costs.
- Following up rigorously with suppliers to obtain timely quotes, confirm delivery dates, and expedite delayed orders.
- Negotiating commercial terms, price structures, payment terms, and minimum order quantities (MOQs).
- Dispatch, Logistics & Factory Coordination
- Coordinating dispatches with transporters and vendors to ensure safe and timely delivery of materials to the factory.
- Aligning daily with the factory team (stores, production, and quality control) to track order arrivals, material availability, and check for any delivery shortages or defects.
- Handling internal coordination between different departments, including accounts/finance for vendor advance payments, balance clearance, and bill reconciliation.
Managing day-to-day operations such as creating competitive quotation sheets, raising Purchase Orders (POs) in the ERP, and maintaining clean procurement records.
Candidate Requirements Education & Experience
- Educational background: Graduate degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience required: 1 to 3 years of operational procurement experience, preferably within an engineering or industrial equipment manufacturing plant.
Core Skills
- Industrial knowledge: Familiarity with engineering materials, metals, seals, or hardware used in manufacturing machinery, pumps, or valves.
- Execution skills: Highly persistent in follow-ups, possess practical negotiation skills, and clear phone/email communication.
- Software familiarity: Strong working hands-on knowledge of MS Excel (spreadsheets, comparison sheets) and standard ERP systems (such as Tally Prime or SAP).
