Job summary

Skynet Placements & Outsourcing Services is seeking a detail-oriented engineer to prepare technical datasheets for bought-out items and participate in vendor bid evaluations. You will review P&IDs, PMS, PDS, GA drawings, and plot plans, ensuring alignment with client specifications and contract requirements.

Coordination with mechanical, electrical, and planning teams will be essential to meet timelines. Responsibilities include submission of drawings to customers and obtaining necessary

• Preparation of Technical datasheets for bought-out items per customer spec, PID, layout and process calculations.
• Participate in technical evaluation of vendor bid offers.
• Preparation of Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE).
• Review vendor drawings and documents.
• Ensure vendor equipment specifications meet client specs.
• Submission of drawings to customer.
• Obtain drawings and documents in code 1 from customer/consultants where required.
• Review contract requirements for project execution: PDS, PMS, P&IDs, Plot plans, GA drawings.
• Coordinate with projects and planning and other engineering disciplines to meet project schedules and target completion dates.

Job description

1. Preparation of Technical datasheets of following bought-out items based on customer specification, PID, Layout and Process calculations.
1. Centrifugal pumps.
2. Dosing pumps.
3. Agitators.
4. Compressors
5. Mechanical bought out equipments cartridge Filters, Self-cleaning filters, Heat Exchangers etc.
6. Valves Safety Valves, Regulating Valves (Manual and Auto) Ball, Butterfly, Diaphragm, Gate, Globe, Pinch etc.
2. Participate in the technical evaluation of vendor bid offers.
3. Preparation of Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE).
4. Review vendor drawings and documents.
5. Ensure vendor equipment specifications meet with client equipment specifications.
6. Submission of drawings to customer.
7. Getting drawings and documents in code 1 from customer/consultants across the table if required.
8. Review contract requirements for project execution, identify requirements and scope of work; review specifications Process Data Sheets (PDS), Piping Material Specifications (PMS), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Plot plans, General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
9. Coordinate with projects and planning, other disciplines of engineering such as Mechanical, Electricals, Application engineering on project time schedules, establish target completion dates, ensure target dates are achieved.
