Process Engineer/Designer

Job summary

PeopleStrong seeks a Process Engineer to develop and review design bases, calculations and narratives for complex process systems. You will prepare PFDs, P&IDs, and datasheets, and perform simulations and hydraulic analyses using industry tools.

You will size equipment, participate in HAZID/HAZOP and safety studies, ensure compliance with codes, review vendor documents, and collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver safe, compliant, and timely engineering solutions for OSS, Green

Responsibilities

• Develop and review Process Design Basis, Process Design Calculations, and Process Narratives.
• Prepare and review PFDs, P&IDs, Utility Flow Diagrams, and Process Datasheets.
• Perform process simulations and hydraulic calculations using industry-standard software.
• Carry out equipment sizing and specification for pumps, vessels, heat exchangers, compressors, tanks, and utility packages.
• Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, and other process safety studies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable international codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Review vendor documents, technical bids, and engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Structural, and Project teams.
• Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and start-up activities.
• Support process engineering activities for Offshore Substations (OSS), Green Hydrogen, Ammonia, and other Energy Transition projects.
• Conduct process optimization, troubleshooting, and technical evaluation studies.
• Interface with clients, consultants, licensors, and technology providers.
• Ensure timely delivery and quality of process engineering deliverables.
• Support project proposals, FEED, and detailed engineering activities.
• Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and audits.
