Job summary
Acumen 360 Consulting & HR Solutions in India seeks an Instrumentation Engineer to handle instrument index, datasheet reviews, and sizing assessments. The role involves DCS/PLC technical reviews, vendor liaison, and preparation of TCS and BOM for construction.
You will conduct loop checks, perform installation and commissioning, and provide training to contractors and technicians, ensuring adherence to standards and project timelines.
Qualifications
- Experience in instrument index preparation, IO list, and datasheet review.
- Sizing and selection reviews; DCS/PLC technical assessment.
- Vendor RFIs and online submissions for field instruments and bulk items.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cable schedules, JB schedules and BOM for construction.
- Conduct loop checks from field and DCS side; instrument configuration and calibration.
- Install instruments per standards; perform commissioning and handover.
- Train contractors, manpower and technicians on instrument systems.

Job description
- Review & preparation of instrument index, instrument IO list.
- Review/preparation of Instrument datasheet, instrument sizing & selection review, DCS/PLC technical review, preparation of TCS & ordering of instrument.
- Online RFI & follow-up with vendors for technical offer submission of field instruments, DCS/PLC & other bulk items (Cable, trays, fittings, etc).
- Review of vendor documents engineering documents, GAD, look-up drawing & supporting instrument-lead for detail engineering.
- Preparation of cable schedule, JB schedule & BOM for construction items.
- Loop checking from field as well as DCS side, Instruments configuration & calibration.
- Instrument installation as per standards, Configuration and commissioning.
- Training to contractors manpower and technicians.
