Job summary

Acumen 360 Consulting & HR Solutions in India is seeking a Mechanical Design professional to develop design basis, specifications for equipment, and piping layouts. The role involves vendor evaluation, FAT/SAT coordination, and ensuring quality through review of fabrication drawings.

The candidate will work with 3D models, nozzle orientations, and MTO/BOQ analysis for greenfield and brownfield projects, supporting CAPEX budgeting and project execution.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical design standards and codes would be expected.
• Experience with equipment MDS and associated QA processes.
• Familiarity with vendor evaluation, FAT and SAT activities.
• Experience in equipment and piping layout preparation with elevations.
• Understanding of 3D modeling and nozzle orientation drawing development.
• Ability to evaluate piping MTO and BOQ for greenfield and brownfield projects.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare mechanical design basis for projects.
• Develop specifications for bought-out equipment & packages.
• Prepare technical questionnaires for static & rotary equipment.
• Review vendor fabrication drawings and provide approvals as required.
• Develop piping layout and GADs with correct elevations and layouts.
• Prepare piping Isometrics and check GAD & layout consistency.
• Evaluate equipment MTO & BOQ for various project scopes.
• Assist in equipment costing for CAPEX preparation.

• Should have good Knowledge in Review & prepare mechanical design basis
• Should have knowledge of various standards and codes.
• Should have good knowledge in MDS of equipment
• Design and develop specifications for bought-out equipment & packages
• Prepare Technical Questionnaire for Static & rotary type Equipment
• should have good knowledge of different type of equipment Quality Assurance Plan.
• Should have good knowledge in vendor evaluation, FAT & SAT.
• Should have a handful experience in Equipment & piping Layout preparation with elevation drawing.
• should have experience in different type of equipment's troubleshooting activity.
• Check & review Vendor Fabrication drawing and provide necessary approval.
• Should have good knowledge in Piping design basis and piping/valves specifications.
• Understanding on 3D Model.
• Develop nozzle orientation drawings for fabricated equipment
• Knowledge on Piping GAD & layout
• Should have knowledge to evaluate Piping MTO & BOQ for both Green field & Brown Field Projects
