Job summary

Macawber Beekay in Uttar Pradesh seeks a Process Engineer specialized in piping design and layout to support EPC projects. You will prepare pipe schedules, BOMs, PRs, and vendor interactions, ensuring technical accuracy and timely tender submissions.

Responsibilities include reviewing PFDs, P&IDs, GA drawings, and HVAC related sizing calculations; you will compile CRS for client approval and contribute to DBR for HVAC systems and ash handling tenders.

Qualifications

• Experience in EPC projects and process engineering environments.
• Strong capability in piping design and layout.
• Experience with equipment and material procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pipe schedules, valve schedules, equipment lists and BOMs.
• Prepare Billing Break-up (BBU) and Purchase Requisitions (PR).
• Manage vendor interactions including technical reviews.
• Review PFDs, P&IDs, GA drawings and piping layouts.
• Prepare Comment Resolution Sheets (CRS) for client approval.
• Prepare DBR for HVAC systems and perform heat load calculations.
• Perform pipe and pump sizing calculations.
• Perform vent filter sizing calculations and ash handling system sizing.
• Prepare basic engineering and BOM for tendering ash water recovery and ash handling systems.
