Job summary

Acumen 360 Consulting & HR Solutions seeks a skilled mechanical design professional in Gujarat to support equipment projects. You will review design basis, develop specifications for bought-out equipment, and prepare technical questionnaires for static and rotary equipment.

You will also evaluate vendor drawings, approve QAPs, and contribute to piping layout, isometrics, MTO/BOQ analysis, and equipment costing for capex on greenfield and brownfield projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical design basis and standards.
• Experience in equipment QA plans and vendor evaluation.
• Ability to review vendor drawings, FAT/SAT, and approvals.
• Proficiency in piping layout, GAD, isometrics, and 3D models.

Responsibilities

• Review & prepare mechanical design basis for equipment and piping.
• Design and develop specifications for bought-out equipment and packages.
• Prepare technical questionnaires for static & rotary equipment.
• Evaluate vendor drawings and provide necessary approvals.
• Develop nozzle orientation drawings and piping MTO/BOQ for greenfield & brownfield projects.
• Costing for capex related to equipment.

• Should have good Knowledge in Review & prepare mechanical design basis
• Should have knowledge of various standards and codes.
• Should have good knowledge in MDS of equipment
• Design and develop specifications for bought-out equipment & packages
• Prepare Technical Questionnaire for Static & rotary type Equipment
• should have good knowledge of different type of equipment Quality Assurance Plan.
• Should have good knowledge in vendor evaluation, FAT & SAT.
• Should have a handful experience in Equipment & piping Layout preparation with elevation drawing.
• should have experience in different type of equipment's troubleshooting activity.
• Check & review Vendor Fabrication drawing and provide necessary approval.
• Should have good knowledge in Piping design basis and piping/valves specifications.
• Understanding on 3D Model.
• Develop nozzle orientation drawings for fabricated equipment
• Knowledge on Piping GAD & layout
• Should have knowledge to evaluate Piping MTO & BOQ for both Green field & Brown Field Projects
• Knowledge on piping Isometrics
• Equipment costing for capex preparation
