Job summary

Crescendo Global Leadership Hiring India Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide pragmatic HR and Employee Relations support to business leaders and managers in Mumbai, with a strong focus on compliance, performance management and stakeholder engagement.

The role involves partnering with global HR Operations, managing local benefits, supporting talent and change programmes, and ensuring policies meet local legislation while aligning with corporate priorities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist with pragmatic HR support.
• Strong experience in Employee Relations and stakeholder management.
• Professional services exposure preferred.
• Experience in restructuring programmes and change management advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of HR compliance and local legislation.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to manage competing priorities independently and collaboratively.
• Experience working in a global matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage country-related HR matters in line with local legislation and global HR priorities.
• Advise managers on employee relations, performance and disciplinary matters while ensuring compliance.
• Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary matters, performance management, redundancy and other complex HR issues.
• Review and update local HR policies and procedures in line with legislative changes.
• Support talent, change management, restructuring and country-specific HR programmes.
• Partner with Centres of Expertise and Global HR Operations to deliver HR programmes.
• Manage local benefits administration, vendor relationships and annual benefits-related activities.
• Support compensation, benefits, internal mobility, international transfers and relocation activities.

We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to provide pragmatic HR and Employee Relations support to business leaders and managers. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in HR compliance, employee relations, performance management and stakeholder management. Exposure to professional services and a global matrix environment will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

1. Managing country-related HR matters and supporting business leaders and managers in line with local legislation and global HR priorities.
2. Advising managers on employee relations, performance and disciplinary matters while ensuring compliance with company and legislative requirements.
3. Managing employee relations cases including disciplinary matters, performance management, redundancy and other complex HR issues.
4. Reviewing and updating local HR policies and procedures in line with legislative changes.
5. Supporting talent, change management, restructuring and country-specific HR programmes.
6. Partnering with Centres of Expertise and Global HR Operations to deliver HR programmes in accordance with local requirements.
7. Managing local benefits administration, vendor relationships and annual benefits-related activities.
8. Supporting compensation, benefits, internal mobility, international transfers and relocation activities.

Requirements

1. Bringing proven experience as an HR Generalist with commercially focused and pragmatic HR support experience.
2. Demonstrating strong experience in Employee Relations and senior stakeholder management.
3. Having professional services exposure is preferred.
4. Possessing experience in restructuring programmes and change management initiatives is advantageous.
5. Demonstrating strong knowledge of HR compliance, local legislation and HR policies.
6. Possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong English proficiency.
7. Managing competing priorities effectively while working independently and collaboratively.
8. Demonstrating experience of working within a global matrix environment.
