Job summary

Businessleader in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Email Marketing Specialist to build and manage the complete email marketing function from scratch, including strategy, data research, campaign execution, deliverability, and lead generation. Ideal for candidates comfortable with international time zones and driving results independently.

You will source target data, develop end-to-end workflows, optimize campaigns through testing, and collaborate with sales for lead handoffs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Email Marketing, Lead Gen, and Email Automation.
• Experience with B2B data research and prospect list building.
• Proficient with major email marketing/outreach tools listed above.
• Experience with data tools such as Apollo, LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, Hunter.io, Snov.io.
• Strong copywriting and subject line writing ability.
• Analytical mindset to read campaign data and optimize performance.
• Ability to independently set up and scale end-to-end processes.
• Willing to work night shifts in line with US time zones.

Responsibilities

• Source target prospect data and ICP-aligned lists using ICP tools.
• Build email marketing process from strategy to templates and automation.
• Generate qualified leads via email marketing per targets.
• Maintain clean email databases and segment appropriately.
• Verify and enrich contact data to minimize bounces using verification tools.
• Set up and manage sending infrastructure with domains and SMTP.
• Optimize deliverability with SPF/DKIM/DMARC and inbox placement.
• Ensure CAN-SPAM/GDPR compliance including opt-out management.
• Track key metrics and optimize campaigns; perform A/B tests.
• Coordinate with sales for lead handoff and reporting.

Job description

We are hiring an experienced Email Marketing Specialist to build and manage the complete email marketing function from scratch including strategy, data research, campaign execution, email deliverability, and lead generation. Ideal for candidates comfortable working in international time zones and driving results independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct data research/data collection identify and source target prospect data (company, contact, email, LinkedIn profile, etc.) using tools like Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Hunter.io, Snov.io as per client's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
• Build the entire email marketing process from scratch — strategy, workflows, automation, and templates
• Generate qualified leads via email marketing as per client targets and business goals
• Build, segment, and maintain clean email databases/lists
• Verify and enrich contact data to keep lists accurate and minimize bounce rates (e.g., NeverBounce, ZeroBounce, or similar)
• Set up and manage email sending infrastructure — domains, SMTP servers, mailboxes, IP/domain warm-up
• Ensure high email deliverability through SPF, DKIM, DMARC configuration and inbox placement best practices
• Ensure campaigns comply with CAN-SPAM/GDPR regulations, including proper opt-out and suppression list management
• Track and optimize key email marketing metrics — open rate, CTR, bounce rate, reply rate, and conversions
• A/B test subject lines, email copy, and send times for maximum performance
• Coordinate with sales and business development teams for lead handoff and campaign alignment
• Prepare and share regular performance/lead generation reports

Required Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience in Email Marketing, Cold Emailing, Lead Generation, and Email Automation
• Strong experience in B2B data research and prospect list building using sales intelligence/prospecting tools
• Proficient with email marketing & outreach tools: Instantly, Sendgrid, Mailwizz, Apollo.io, HubSpot, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Brevo, or similar
• Experience with prospecting/data tools such as Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Hunter.io, Snov.io
• Strong email copywriting and subject line writing skills
• Analytical mindset with ability to read campaign data and optimize performance
• Ability to independently set up and scale the email marketing process end-to-end
• Willing and comfortable to work in night shifts
• Education: Graduate in any stream (Marketing/BBA/MBA preferred but not mandatory)
• Experience: 3–8 years in Email Marketing / Lead Generation
• Shift: Must be comfortable working night shifts (as per US time zone)
• Location: Candidates based in or willing to commute to CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai
