Job summary

Nibav Home Elevators is seeking a seasoned Service Operations Leader to oversee end-to-end service, preventive maintenance, and breakdown operations for elevators and home lifts in Chennai and nearby locations.

You will supervise a large team across multiple locations, drive SLA adherence, MTTR reduction, and ensure timely maintenance schedules while maintaining safety standards and quality. Strong leadership and field planning experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 15 to 20 years of experience in technical operations, Service, or Maintenance preferably in the elevator industry.
• Proven experience managing large-scale multi-location service teams (300 to 500 employees).
• Strong expertise in service operations, field resource planning, and maintenance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complete service, preventive maintenance, and breakdown operations for elevators and home lifts.
• Supervise a team of service engineers, supervisors, and technicians across multiple locations.
• Ensure timely execution of lift preventive maintenance schedules per SOPs and safety standards.
• Monitor SLA adherence, response time, MTTR, and callback rates.
• Handle critical customer escalations and ensure quick issue resolution.
• Drive AMC / CMC service performance and renewal follow-ups where applicable.
• Conduct site inspections, service audits, and safety compliance checks.
• Coordinate with projects, installation, spare parts, logistics, and customer support teams.
• Ensure availability of spare parts, tools, and technical resources.
• Track team productivity, attendance, and route efficiency.
• Prepare weekly / monthly MIS reports, service dashboards, and performance reviews.
• Conduct regular technical and safety training programs for the service team.
• Optimize service operations to improve customer satisfaction and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and internal quality standards.
