Job summary

Atom Lifts India Pvt Ltd in Chennai invites an Elevator Service Engineer to join our Service & Maintenance team. You will perform preventive maintenance for Passenger, Home, Hospital, Goods, Hydraulic, and MRL lifts, ensuring safe operation and customer satisfaction.

You will inspect electrical and mechanical systems, lubricate and test elevators, respond to service calls and breakdowns, diagnose faults, and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventive maintenance on various lift types.
• Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance for Passenger, Home, Hospital, Goods, Hydraulic, and MRL lifts.
• Respond to service calls and breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Inspect electrical, mechanical, and safety components and test systems.
• Lubricate, clean, and adjust elevator components during service visits.
• Escalate major issues to senior technicians when required.

Atom Lifts India Pvt Ltd is looking for a skilled and customer-focused Elevator Service Engineer to join our Service & Maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance, breakdown service, troubleshooting, repairs, and ensuring the safe and reliable operation of elevators under warranty and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC). The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of elevator systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance for Passenger Lifts, Home Lifts, Hospital Lifts, Goods Lifts, Hydraulic Lifts, MRL, and Machine Room Elevators.
• Follow the company's preventive maintenance checklist and service SOPs.
• Inspect mechanical, electrical, and safety components to ensure reliable operation.
• Lubricate, clean, adjust, and test elevator systems during every service visit.
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency breakdowns.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and controller-related faults.
• Minimize elevator downtime by providing quick and effective solutions.
• Escalate major technical issues to senior technical support when required.
