Job summary

Jindal Steel Limited in Raigarh is seeking a Mill Shift In-Charge to oversee daily operation of the mill across shifts, from Raw Material to Finishing Area, ensuring smooth production flow and strict safety adherence.

You will fill critical checklists, maintain log books, drive TPM/TQM and Kaizen initiatives, supervise maintenance (PM & breakdown) on AC drives, PLC, instrumentation, EOT cranes and CCTV, and ensure housekeeping and safe practices while managing monthly inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for smooth operation of Mill in shifts.
• Responsible for overall shift running from Raw Material to Finishing Area.
• Responsible for Filling Critical check list.
• Inventory tracking to be done on Monthly basis
• Responsible for Safety in Shift and Maintaining Log Book.
• Responsible for Attending breakdown & Preventive Maintenance Jobs.
• Ensure good housekeeping & safety in the mill and around E&I equipments.
• Implementation of various systems in department like TPM TQM etc.
• Continuous Improvement by Implementing Kaizen.
• Implementation of Safety practices in the mill (E&I section in above mentioned areas).
• Handling PM & Break down activity of AC Drives, PLC, Instrumentation, EOT crane, AC motor, CCTV, filling checklist activity in the computer.
